Whatever happens, stay warm, dry and fed.

A calm, practical plan for your household. It works for a power cut, a burst main, a payments outage or a bad week, and the first version of it costs nothing at all.

No fear. No countdown clocks. No buckets of freeze dried food.

Where are you?

The advice, the numbers to call, the official sources and the law are different in each place, so pick yours and the whole site changes. You can switch at any time.

Why this site is different

Most preparedness websites are shops. They show you a burning map and a discount code in the same breath, because frightened people buy things.

We are not doing that. The first plan on this site is free, and it is not a lesser plan. It is the one that covers the large majority of what will ever actually happen to you: an evening with no electricity, a day with no water, an afternoon when the card machines stop.

We cover the harder things too, honestly, including the ones people mean when they say war. But we cover them the way a government civil protection leaflet does, not the way a rolling news channel does.
